SPRINGFIELD- State Senator Tom Bennett (R-Gibson City) released the following statement on the recent resignation announcement of the Director of the Department of Children and Family Services:
“Governor Pritzker has failed to properly fix the issues at DCFS for too long, leaving our state’s most vulnerable children unprotected. This key agency needs new leadership to end the reoccurring problems and to give the children of Illinois the proper care and support they need.”
